Digital Marketing & Commercial Analytics Manager

Location: London (Hybrid Working)

About the Company

Solis Recruitment has partnered with a globally recognised consumer technology brand that operates across multiple product categories and international markets.

As the business continues to invest in digital transformation, customer engagement and ecommerce growth, data has become a critical part of how commercial and marketing decisions are made. Following recent changes to its digital infrastructure and growing investment in CRM and ecommerce, the business is looking to strengthen its analytics capability with a newly created leadership position.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established organisation undergoing significant digital evolution while working closely with both local and international stakeholders.

About the Role

This is a newly created position designed to strengthen how the business uses data to make commercial and marketing decisions.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across Marketing, CRM, Ecommerce and Sales, you'll be responsible for turning complex data into clear recommendations that improve performance and support future growth.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on analysis. You'll help teams better understand customer behaviour, campaign performance, commercial trends and ecommerce activity, providing insight that influences decision-making across the organisation.

While the position has a strong analytics focus, the business is ultimately looking for someone who can communicate findings clearly, challenge thinking constructively and help stakeholders act on the information available to them.

You'll also support the development of existing team members and help establish best practice around reporting, measurement and performance analysis as the function continues to evolve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing and commercial analytics initiatives across CRM, ecommerce and digital channels.
  • Analyse performance data and provide recommendations that improve commercial outcomes.
  • Develop reporting frameworks, dashboards and performance measurement processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, retention and conversion performance.
  • Support CRM and customer lifecycle activity through audience, segmentation and performance analysis.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales and ecommerce stakeholders to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership teams.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable information that non-technical stakeholders can understand.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and analytics partners.
  • Establish best practice around reporting, testing and measurement.
  • Coach and support team members in developing analytics capability and commercial understanding.
  • Contribute to wider digital and ecommerce initiatives across the business.

About You

  • Experience within Marketing Analytics, CRM Analytics, Customer Insight, Commercial Analytics or Ecommerce Analytics roles.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Able to influence decisions through insight and evidence rather than simply reporting data.
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of CRM, customer journeys and digital marketing performance metrics.
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as GA4, Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar.
  • Commercially minded with a genuine interest in business performance and customer behaviour.
  • Previous mentoring, coaching or team leadership experience would be beneficial.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic projects with hands-on analysis.
  • Experience gained either in-house or within an agency environment will be considered.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and bonus package.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Opportunity to join a recognised international brand.
  • Exposure to both local and global business initiatives.
  • Significant visibility across senior stakeholder groups.
  • Opportunity to shape a newly created role and influence the future analytics function.
  • Long-term career development opportunities within a growing digital and ecommerce environment.

Culture

This is a collaborative business that values curiosity, continuous improvement and commercial thinking.

The successful candidate will join a team that is investing heavily in digital growth and customer experience, with genuine opportunities to influence strategy and make a measurable impact. The business is looking for someone who enjoys turning insight into action, thrives on stakeholder engagement and wants to help shape the future direction of analytics within a global organisation.
