Growth Marketing Manager
Salary: Up to £65,000 + bonus
Location: Hybrid — City of London (Tues/Weds in office)
The Company
Solis Recruitment are supporting a fast-growing D2C pureplay retailer operating across fashion, footwear, accessories, and wider lifestyle categories. With no physical stores and a fully digital retail model, the business is scaling fast and investing heavily in high-performing acquisition, better customer journeys, and conversion-led marketing.
This is a small, nimble, and ambitious team where everyone has real ownership. Decisions are quick, ideas move fast, and you’ll have the freedom to test, experiment, and shape the growth function as the brand continues to scale.
The Role
The business is hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to lead customer acquisition across all key performance channels. This is a hands-on, data-led role designed for someone who can combine precision targeting with broader growth strategy and experimentation.
You’ll partner closely with the eCommerce team to align trading priorities, stock availability, launches, and promotional cycles with acquisition strategy. The role also includes performance influencer activity, working with talent where relevant to drive incremental growth and profitable new customers.
Ideal for someone who is commercially sharp, creative with testing, and loves rolling up their sleeves within a small but fast-moving D2C environment.
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Acquisition
- Manage the full lifecycle of paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, TikTok Shop, and shopping formats.
- Plan and execute acquisition activity across paid social, PPC, retargeting, and performance influencer partnerships.
- Collaborate with the eCommerce team to align campaigns with trading calendars, category pushes, stock drops, and seasonal priorities.
- Own weekly reporting across all channels, confidently communicating ROAS, CAC, conversion rates, and opportunities for optimisation.
Creative, Messaging & Audience Testing
- Drive continuous creative and messaging testing across different audience segments to find new winners and scale high-performing combinations.
- Brief, shape, and iterate ad creatives with in-house and external teams, ensuring content is platform‑specific and performance-driven.
- Test new hooks, angles, formats, and storylines to improve thumb‑stopping power and increase paid efficiency.
- Experiment rigorously across landing pages, offers, bundles, and customer journeys to improve conversion and revenue per session.
Growth & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with eCommerce to ensure acquisition supports trading goals and category performance.
- Identify new customer segments and opportunities using data, insights, and behaviour trends.
- Support wider growth functions — from CRO to retention touchpoints — where needed in a small-team environment.
- Drive performance influencer activity, sourcing partnerships that can prove incremental, measurable, and profitable.
Data, Insights & Commercial Impact
- Own end‑to‑end funnel performance, from impression to purchase.
- Use analytics tools to inform decision-making, validate test results, and uncover new growth paths.
- Adopt a structured, hypothesis-driven approach to experimentation with clear measurement plans and reporting.
- Maintain a sharp commercial focus — prioritising activity that drives profitable customer growth.
What You Bring
- 5+ years' experience in Performance Marketing, Growth Marketing, or Customer Acquisition within D2C or ecommerce.
- Hands-on expertise across Meta, TikTok, and performance-led paid channels.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working deeply with data.
- Experience driving creative and messaging testing across multiple audience segments.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with eCommerce, merchandising, and creative teams.
- Proactive, experimental mindset with the ability to get stuck in across multiple areas.
- Retail experience across fashion, footwear, accessories, beauty, or lifestyle is highly beneficial.
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid: Tuesdays & Wednesdays in the City of London, flexibility for the rest of the week
