Solis Recruitment are partnering with a global consumer Lifestyle Fashion brand, on the lookout for an Ecommerce Assistant to join their team.

The role will suit someone with the ability to collate and analyse data, with great attention to detail and with experience of working in an e-commerce team within a brand.

 

The Role

 

The eCommerce Assistant will be responsible for the implementation of marketing and trading activities through the CMS, as well as managing and maintaining excellent presentation on the website.

 

Day to day responsibilities of the eCommerce Assistant will include:

  • Supporting the Ecommerce Manager with various tasks including analysis of data and trading performance.
  • Management of website elements, product listings and product information, ensuring all information is up to date and accurate.
  • Data analysis and reporting on website performance and sales performance, identification and resolution of any issues detected (via development agency if technical support is required).
  • Collaborating with other teams including the wider digital marketing teams, customer service, finance and so on.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, conducting competitor analysis and keeping abreast of e-com technologies to maintain optimal site performance.

 

 

Skills and Experience

 

The eCommerce Assistant will have 1+ years of relevant experience, working with an established brand or in an ecommerce environment. This role will suit someone who is a positive team player and who takes a collaborative approach to their work. The ideal eCommerce Assistant will have/be:

 

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and confident in their ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail, an analytical mindset and an ability to interpret data and provide insights.
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage a workload with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience using e-commerce CMS, experience using Magento would be ideal!
  • Basic understanding of web technologies including html, CSS, browsers etc.
  • A genuine passion for a career in e-commerce, with an interest in industry trends and developments.
  • Keen to further their own learning and development, and take on new challenges.
