The Role
The Senior Creative Strategist will be responsible for utilising insights to create a strategic proposition, plan effective ways to deliver messaging to audience and work with creatives to bring the strategy to life.
Day to day duties will be varied, but will cover:
- Developing briefs for creatives to brings strategies to life.
- Planning best channels to effectively communicate with clients.
- Understanding clients goals and objectives, gathering key insights and translating data into creative brand strategies.
- Writing and presenting research and planning decks.
- Taking a fresh approach and ideas to the project, delivering innovative and insightful thoughts that communicate the brand and support clients to reach their objectives.
- Creating and running client-facing strategic workshops with senior client stakeholders, writing research, and planning decks, facilitating focus groups and working of a variety of different projects to support clients overcome a wide-array of challenges.
- Using research tools to gather insight, turning this into useful, meaningful knowledge for clients and the wider team.
- Using research and insights to understand target audience’s tastes and behaviours, and utilising insights to craft and present a compelling narrative or story.
- Working closely with the Strategy Director and collaborate across internal teams (Strategy, Client Partnerships and Creative departments).
Skills and Experience Required
To be successful in your application you have gained at least 4+ years working across brand strategy, campaign planning and insights within an agency environment. You will be comfortable at presenting creative and compelling concepts to an array of client stakeholders and with a sound rationale of how it will help clients reach their audiences.
You will have/be:
- Working at a Senior Strategist level, with experience in leading on projects, working across internal departments and building strong client relations.
- Experience in communicating the strategy to creatives and developing creative briefs.
- Have demonstrable experience in leading brand-building processes and understand the world of brand and its breadth of deliverables (e.g. brand strategy, brand architecture etc), using research tools to distil information into a concise and effective strategy.
- Understand the campaign process and the requirements that come with it, while also appreciating its role within broader brand building.
- Experience working on multi-channel campaigns, planning effective ways to deliver messages.
- Are an expert in synthesising broad and deep levels of information into critical and concise insight, to guide strategy development that will appeal to audiences.
- Can demonstrate high levels of proficiency in creating compelling and inspiring narratives, to present our strategic rigour in its most powerful form.
- Confident in communicating and effectively presenting strategic outputs to clients, across seniority levels and departments.
- Comfortable working in fast paced environments, and enjoy working with a variety of clients.
Nice to have (non-essentials):
- Bachelor level degree in marketing, business or similar. Marketing, Branding, Campaign qualifications and / or courses.
- Experience in Higher Education clients is a big plus (although not essential) or FinTech would be beneficial, but again, not essential.
- Experience in pitching and new business proposals.
- Passionate about, and experienced in, thought leadership and content creation for the agency (or personally).
- Knowledge and passion for specialist topics surrounding the world of marketing and branding e.g. technology, AI etc.

The role offers a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 and offers a host of perks including:
