Job Description

Marketing Growth Lead

Location: London, 5 days a week in the office (some flexibility)

Salary: Up to £100,000 (some flexibility for someone exceptional)

The Company

Solis Recruitment is partnering with a B2B SaaS business on a mission to revolutionise the PropTech world. The company sits on top of it's clients existing systems and takes on the operational work and admin work, reducing workload and helping clients to free up time.

They're pre-Series A and building towards a major Series A raise in 2027. The product works and early traction proves it. This role is the one that ,akes the company a name the market recognises.

The Role

This is a founding marketing hire. You'll own demand generation from the ground up: social, content, brand and events, building the engine that gets this company in front of every business in its market.

As the first marketing hire, you'll build the strategy and execute it: growing audiences, generating leads, and working out what lands with a busy, sceptical, non-technical buyer. Over time you'll guide a small team, including junior salespeople, but this is a hands-on seat where you're building the function as you go, covering both strategy and execution.

The Responsibilities

  • Own social media and content, and build brand awareness from a low starting point
  • Plan and run events as part of the wider marketing mix
  • Get in front of clients directly to understand the market and what actually makes them care
  • Work up the chain with target accounts, from first point of contact to decision makers
  • Define messaging and provide light sales enablement, guiding junior salespeople on how to talk about the product
  • Build a share of inbound, marketing-sourced pipeline that sales can work
  • Use CRM data (Hubspot experience desirable) to track and report on what's working

To Be Successful in Your Application

  • Proven B2B SaaS experience, ideally in an early-stage startup, with a track record of building and scaling a brand or growth function from near-zero
  • Comfortable working without a big budget or an established playbook
  • Confident selling something the market doesn't yet know it needs, to a busy, sceptical buyer
  • Around 7-8 years' experience is typical for this seat
  • No PropTech background required
  • A strong academic background, including a degree from a leading research-intensive university (e.g., Russell Group)
  • Please note this role cannot offer visa sponsorship

Hubspot experience is a plus but not essential. What matters most is proof you've built demand and brand recognition from scratch in an early-stage B2B environment.
